Scientists of Turkmen higher education institution conducted research work in India

Scientists of the Makhtumkuli Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan conducted extensive research work in India to study manuscript and book collections of the National Museum of India in New Delhi, the Raza Library in Rampur, the Bangiya Sahitya Parishat Literary Society and the Asian Society in Kolkata. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

As a result of the work, the scientists discovered 69 manuscripts related to the history and culture of Turkmenistan. The scientists brought electronic copies of these manuscripts to Turkmenistan. Among the found manuscripts, 49 are in Persian, 10 in Turkmen and 10 in Arabic. The manuscripts will be used to study the works of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and other prominent Turkmen figures.
