On May 20, the president of Turkmenistan spoke with Roman Sklyar, the first deputy prime minister of Kazakhstan. The politicians discussed bilateral partnership in various areas: trade, oil and gas, industry, and agriculture.
One of the central topics of the meeting was the supply of Turkmen gas to Kazakhstan. The parties also discussed cooperation on the project of building a granary in Turkmenistan.
A day earlier, Serdar Berdymukhamedov had received an official message from the president of Kazakhstan, which spoke of the importance of joint implementation of projects in various sectors of the life of the state.
