Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived at the ECO meeting in Tashkent

Today, November 9, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Tashkent to participate in the regular 16th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). This was reported by the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan.

The head of Turkmenistan, which currently chairs the ECO, was met at the airport of the Uzbek capital by representatives of official circles of the host country.

In addition to addressing the summit, Serdar Berdimuhamedov is expected to hold bilateral talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The previous ECO meeting was held in November 2021 in Ashgabat. Turkmenistan aims to intensify regional partnership in trade and economic, investment, transport and other spheres.
