On December 16, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhalyev and khakims of velayats to review the dynamics of work in the regions and agrarian sector, as well as the implementation of the National Rural Program, TDH reports.
During the meeting, the khakims of Akhal velayat S.Soltanmyradov, Balkan velayat H.Ashirmyradov, Dashoguz velayat D.Babayev, Lebap velayat M.Annanepesov, Mary velayat B.Orazov reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural lands of the region.
As reported, mineral fertilizer feeding and vegetative irrigation of wheat-sown fields continue in the regions of the country.
Within the framework of land preparation for sowing cotton for the next year's harvest, the work on application of necessary fertilizers and plowing of allotted plots is carried out.
At the same time, appropriate measures are being taken to prepare for the spring sowing campaign appropriate equipment and units, including their repair.
Efforts are being made to make timely payments to agricultural producers for the cotton crop delivered to the state.
Heads of regional administrations reported on steps to maintain proper functioning of heating systems in residential buildings, schools and kindergartens, as well as uninterrupted energy, gas and water supply to the population. Information was also provided on construction works underway in accordance with the National Rural Program.
Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev made a report on the pace of seasonal campaigns in the agricultural sector.
As reported, at present, the fields sown with wheat continue to be cared for, in particular, their feeding with mineral fertilizers and vegetative irrigation, all work is carried out in accordance with the norms of agrotechnics.
To prepare for cotton sowing, plowing and application of necessary fertilizers are carried out in the allocated plots.
In this regard, repair of machinery and units that will be involved in the spring sowing season is being carried out. In addition, in order to provide farmers with sufficient amounts of biomaterial, repair works are carried out at bioprocessing enterprises. Every effort is made to provide them with the necessary raw materials and equipment.
Measures are taken for timely completion of sugar beet harvest in Mary province.
After hearing the report and emphasizing the key role of agriculture in the structure of the national economy, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under control the qualitative and organized implementation of the current seasonal works.
