The 65th session of the UN Commission discussed the control of illicit drug trafficking. The event was held in the Austrian capital from March 14 to 18 with 1,400 participants from 128 states.
The Turkmen delegation stressed that combating drug trafficking is one of the most important tasks, which is being addressed at both regional and international platforms. The head of the delegation reported on measures taken in the country to combat drug trafficking. Reference was made to the large-scale educational work carried out in close cooperation with public organizations.
The session also touched on the implementation of international obligations related to combating the spread of narcotic drugs.
