A concert of the famous jazz group "Ragtime" was held in the Small Hall of the TNC named after M. Kuliyeva, as reported by the national Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The group performed for the first time in 2020, presenting the audience with enchanting compositions in jazz performance and immediately winning the love of the public. The leader of the group is the concertmaster of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments N. Bagirova. The musical group includes students of bass guitarist M. Dzhuraev and percussionist K. Gurbanmuradov.
In addition to the "Ragtime" group, saxophonists S. Yalkabov, H. Esenov, A. Redzhepov, D. Klychev, A. Huseykhanov, D. Arnepesov and 7 talented soloists performed at the concert. During the concert the famous jazz hits "New York, New York" by Joe Kander, "If There Were No You" by Joe Dassen, "Oh Lady, Be Kind" by George Gershwin, "Get Out, Jack" by Percy Mayfield and others were performed.
