On September 24, 2024, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed decrees on conferring awards and titles to outstanding citizens of the country. This is reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today.
The title "Hormatly il ýaşulusy" was conferred on honorable elders who take part in the discussion of state issues, work on explaining foreign and domestic policy to the population in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the country's independence. Women were awarded the Order of Turkmenistan "Zenan kalby" for their contribution to strengthening the unity and cohesion of the people.
For achievements in various areas, citizens have been awarded the Order of Turkmenistan "Garaşsyz Türkmenistana bolan beýik söýgüsi üçin", the Medal of Turkmenistan "Gaýrat" and the Medal of Turkmenistan "Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin" by presidential decree.
The winners of the competition for the presidential award "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" among creative workers were determined by the Presidential Decree. They were awarded with a gold chain of the President of Turkmenistan and a prize of 3500 manat.
