Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to Turkmenistan Ji Kyu-taek made a working visit to the Balkan ship repair and shipbuilding plant. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal.
During the visit, the diplomat was familiarized with the production process of the plant, its capabilities, as well as the construction of two dry cargo ships. The Ambassador was informed about the implementation of joint projects of the Turkmen plant "Balkan" and the Korean company Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology Co. Ltd. The achievements of partnership between the Turkmen and Korean companies in the field of shipbuilding were presented.
Within the framework of the visit of the Korean diplomat, a meeting dedicated to the Turkmen-Korean cooperation was held at the Avaza National Tourist Zone. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in further enhancing cooperation.
