A Chinese transit freight train will pass through the territories of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran through the border point Inche Borun. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

The launch of a transit freight train running from Xi'an to Tehran will boost IRI's transit potential in delivering goods from China to European and West Asian countries.
The train will cross the territories of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan and will reach Iran through the Inche Borun border point within 10 days.

In addition, earlier representatives of Turkmenistan discussed with their Ulyanovsk colleagues the possibility of launching a new eastern railroad route Ulyanovsk - Ashgabat - Inche-Burun/Serakhs, which will be used to deliver goods to Turkmenistan and the countries of the region.
