The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by President of the Academy of Sciences Allaberdy Ashirov met with Director of the Georgian National Center of Manuscripts Zaza Abashidze during his working visit to Georgia. This was reported by the Internet publication "Vestiabad".
Among the topical topics of discussion are the development of bilateral cooperation, exchange of experience of scientists of the two countries, organization of joint cultural events to promote the cultural heritage of Georgia and Turkmenistan.
At the end of the conversation between the K. Kekelidze Georgian National Manuscript Center and the K. Kekelidze Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts. K. Kekelidze and the Makhtumkuli Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the K. Kekelidze Georgian National Manuscript Center and the Makhtumkuli Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen delegation will stay in Georgia on an official visit until April 20.
