During the meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M. Chakyev presented a report on measures to train highly qualified specialists in international road transportation. This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".
According to him, the analysis of cargo transportation revealed the need for professional training of drivers and operators involved in international road transportation. In this regard, a proposal was put forward to establish road schools and training centers accredited by the IRU - International Road Transport Union. The head of state noted that this would make it possible to expand trucking routes from Turkmenistan, including to European countries.
