Turkmenistan is preparing to host the 16th meeting of the Central Asia - Republic of Korea Forum

At Friday's Cabinet meeting, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov reported on preparations for the upcoming 16th meeting of the Central Asia - Republic of Korea Regional Forum to be held in the capital of Turkmenistan on November 1. This is reported by the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan.

According to the Foreign Minister, 4 online conferences and roundtable meetings were held within the framework of Turkmenistan's chairmanship in the forum last year.

At the upcoming meeting, 6 thematic sessions are scheduled to be held on cooperation in the spheres of transportation, health care, ecology, information and communication technologies, education and tourism.

In addition, bilateral ministerial talks will be held and a final document will be adopted. A business forum of young entrepreneurs, meetings of business councils and an exhibition of achievements of Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea are also planned.

The Central Asia - Republic of Korea Forum has been held annually since 2007 and is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the countries of the region. This year Turkmenistan is hosting the event for the first time.
