Turkmenistan and UNESCO discuss cooperation issues

Today, December 11, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Amir Pirich, Director of the UNESCO Regional Office in Almaty, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the international conference "Dialogue - a guarantee of peace. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNESCO. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects in educational, scientific, cultural, sports spheres, as well as in the field of digitalization and preservation of historical and architectural monuments and cultural values.

The Head of the UNESCO Almaty Office expressed readiness to further assist in the implementation of projects in the field of education, science and culture.
