Turkmenistan sends humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

Guided by ancestral national traditions and customs, the principles of friendship, brotherhood and good-neighborliness, and in order to continue noble humanitarian activities, the President of Turkmenistan signed an order on the provision of humanitarian aid to the brotherly Afghan people, TDH reports.

On September 11, 2024, in connection with the laying on the Turkmen-Afghan border of a section of Serhetabat-Herat gas pipeline called "Arkadagyň ak yoly", power, transport and communication lines, baby food, food products, wheat, urea, diesel fuel, gasoline and cement were handed over to the Afghan side at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.
