Turkmenistan, due to the spread of coronavirus infection, has provided humanitarian assistance to the Islamic Republic of Iran. A special shipment of medical supplies and food was sent on March 19, according to an order from Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, the state news agency reported.
The vehicles arrived in Khorasan-Rezavi province, where the cargo was met by Iran's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, the head of the city, and the head of the Khorasan-Rezavi Health Department.
As of March 19, the number of people infected in Iran with Covid-19 reached 17,361,000. There were 1,135 victims of the virus.
No cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in our country.
