Turkmenistan takes part in the Central Asian Forum in Astana

The Central Asian Forum on Security and Cooperation kicked off in Astana on July 13. This is reported on the Orient news website.

Within the framework of the international conference, the experts discussed interaction between the countries in the context of geopolitical tensions, global climate change and water crisis, as well as cooperation in the fight against terrorism.

The forum is attended by political scientists and researchers from leading research institutes from 25 countries. More than 60 speakers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, USA and Uzbekistan will address the guests. They include representatives of the UN, the EU, foreign ministries of the participating countries, and representatives of research institutes.
