A regional online event facilitated by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat took place last week to discuss the important issue of humanitarian assistance to migrants, both within the country and across its borders. The seminar was attended by representatives of Turkmenistan's border service, who not only took an important part in resolving issues related to the implementation of humanitarian assistance with partner countries, but also exchanged experiences with their colleagues. More often than not people change their permanent place of residence due to natural disasters, which do not allow continuation of previous activities in the area where they used to live. The economic growth of the country depends to a large extent on the implementation of the right state policy in this area.
It was highlighted that a high level of mobility is quite normal in modern society and needs to be met. Therefore, in order to implement humanitarian assistance, it was beneficial for partner countries to unite and direct their forces to a common cause.
