Turkmenistan became a participant of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting

From November 30 to December 1, the Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan V. Hajiyev took part in a meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, was chaired by the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Macedonian Foreign Minister B. Osmani. Osmani. Delegations from 57 OSCE countries and 11 partner countries participated in the meeting.

The meeting focused on security issues in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian regions.
The Turkmen side expressed its commitment to co-operation with the OSCE and presented Turkmenistan's goals and priorities in accordance with the principles of the Organization.

Turkmenistan made proposals to improve safety by strengthening technological partnerships and creating a common information base to improve professional dialog. Initiatives were also put forward in the areas of transportation connectivity and adaptation to global climate change.
