Turkmenistan participated in the Second ECO Forum in Iran

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran took part in the Second National Forum of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Iran, which was held on September 16 at the Center for Political and International Studies of the Iranian Foreign Ministry. The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation, ambassadors of the ECO member states and distinguished guests. The participation of the Turkmen diplomatic mission confirmed Turkmenistan's active membership in this regional organization.

The main task of the forum was to analyze economic, technological and communication interaction between the ECO Member States. The participants also worked on the elaboration of expert recommendations for the new development strategy of the organization.

The Forum program included three thematic sessions: "Regional Communication and Connectivity", "ECO and New Technologies" and "ECO Vision 2035". Each section was dedicated to the key areas of cooperation within the organization.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan emphasized the long-standing nature of the mutually beneficial, constructive and multilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
