Turkmenistan will supply 5 billion cubic meters of gas to Russia this year

According to the contract signed between Turkmenistan and Russian company Gazprom, the expected volume of natural gas supplies to Russia in 2023 will be about 5 billion cubic meters. This is reported on the website turkmenportal.com.

During the conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2023", Deputy Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" M. Archayev spoke about the terms of the 5-year contract between the State Concern "Turkmengaz" and PJSC "Gazprom".

According to M. Archaev, Turkmenistan fully fulfills its obligations under the contract, which also applies to the planned deliveries for 2023. The volume of annual supply of Turkmen gas to Russia is 5 billion cubic meters. The contract between the companies of the two countries was signed for 5 years in 2019 and will expire in June 2024.
