Delegation of Turkmenistan participated in political consultations in Dushanbe

Turkmen-Tajik political consultations were held today in Dushanbe, with Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov and Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister Imomi Sodiq Ashurboizada as participants. This is reported on the website of Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry. 

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of political and diplomatic cooperation between the two states, emphasizing regional and international cooperation. They also noted the effectiveness of partnership between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan in the development of trade and economic ties and investment cooperation. The sides recognized the need to increase the volume of import-export operations and expand the range of goods.

In the sphere of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the sides emphasized the positive nature of partnership in science and education.
