President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov started his working trip to China on May 18. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The purpose of the working trip is to participate in negotiations at the Central Asia-China Summit to be held in the ancient Chinese city of Xi'an from May 18 to 19, 2023. The President of Turkmenistan was invited to participate in the Summit by President of China Xi Jinping.
During the working visit, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold an official meeting to discuss a number of issues on strengthening bilateral cooperation. The meeting will result in the signing of relevant documents that will complement the existing legal framework of interstate partnership.
