The VIII Caspian Media Forum will be held in Astrakhan on September 18-19 this year, which will traditionally be attended by the delegation of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Turkmenistan considers participation in the event as an opportunity to expand international cooperation, acquire new business and creative ties with representatives of the media of the Caspian region countries.
The central theme of the forum is "Public Diplomacy and Social Media as Factors of Rapprochement of Peoples". Journalists, bloggers, photographers and representatives of the authorities are invited to participate in the event.
Within the framework of the VIII Caspian Media Forum in Astrakhan the winners of the international contest of journalistic works "Caspian Without Borders" will be determined and awarded.
