The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan will hold an Olympiad on mathematical modeling among students of Turkmen universities. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The event is organized by the Department of International Economic Relations of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and will be held on February 12 - the Day of Diplomatic Workers.
Each HEI of the country can present up to three students at the Olympiad. Information about the participants and their academic supervisors until January 31, 2024 should be sent to the e-mail of the organizing HEI.
During the Olympiad, students will have to answer 50 questions, after which they will be able to move on to 6 economic-mathematical problems, which will take 4 hours to solve. The winners will be determined by the sum of points gained in the two stages.
