Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov spoke at the 32nd meeting of the Asian Small Group of Japan on August 28. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
The regular meeting was attended by representatives of the Japanese government and parliament, as well as heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Japan. In his speech, the Turkmen diplomat noted the special importance of the status of permanent neutrality in ensuring peace and security.
The Ambassador also drew attention to the UNGA Resolution "2025 - International Year of Peace and Trust" adopted on the initiative of Turkmenistan in March this year.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Japanese government for its contribution to strengthening cooperation with Central Asian countries.
