Turkmen HEI held an Olympiad in French among schoolchildren

The Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi held an Olympiad in French among pupils of 9-11 classes. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

The competition was held in two stages. The first stage was held in the online format, during which the participants wrote essays on the theme of the motto of 2024 in Turkmenistan. The second stage was held face-to-face - it assessed speaking, writing and reading skills. The 15 best essays selected in the first round went through to the second round, which determined the winners and runners-up.

Leyla Jumageldieva from specialized school #43 of Ashgabat won the Grand Prix of the Olympiad. The first place went to Ramina Hasanova from school #27 of Ashgabat. The second and third places went to Guvanch Niyazov from the capital's school No.4 and Leyla Orazkuliyeva from school No.10 of Dashoguz province, respectively. The winners received diplomas of the organizing university, and their mentors received special certificates.
