More than 3,000 families in Ashgabat will meet the New Year 2023 in new apartments. President Serdar Berdymukhamedov attended the opening of a new neighborhood in the Gurtli neighborhood in the west of the Turkmen capital.
Gurtli is among the new microdistricts of integrated development. There is also a secondary school for 320 students, a kindergarten for 160 children, a shopping and entertainment center and a market.
The total area of the new quarter is more than 910 thousand square meters. The construction has been going on since October 2018, the developers were 40 Turkmen companies.
Sixty-two residential buildings have been erected here. The buildings differ in design layout and number of apartments - from 40 to 80.
The area of four-room apartment is 150 square meters, three-room - 120 m2, two-room - 94.18 m2, one-room - 53.67 m2.
Each apartment has a number of utility rooms, as well as a spacious kitchen with access to a balcony ranging from 14-16 to 20 square meters.
The adjacent territory of the new quarter is fully landscaped: an appropriate social infrastructure, laid asphalted road, lighting system, planted trees and flowers.
The main part of the housing in the neighborhood is intended for the resettlement of large families.
