The State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan is holding a competition for the Day of the Akhal-Teke Horse

The annual creative competition was held in the Exhibition Hall of the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan. Traditionally, the exhibition is dedicated to the greatness and noble beauty of the Akhalteke horse. The Neutral Turkmenistan daily newspaper reported about the contest.

The competition presents paintings, sculptures, photographs, ceramic products, jewelry, souvenirs and other exhibits of students, graduates of the Academy and the special school attached to it.

For objective evaluation, the works are labeled not with the artists' names, but with serial numbers. Venerable painters and sculptors can be recognized by their characteristic creative "handwriting" and manner of execution, but in the case of young masters it will not be easy to establish the authorship in advance.

The exhibition will conclude with a wrap-up where winners will be named among painters, photographers, sculptors, jewelers, designers, cameramen and other artistic figures.
