The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan received copies of credentials of the Ambassador of Belarus

Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan Stanislav Chepurnoy presented copies of his credentials to Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov on January 6, 2025. This is reported by Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. 

Rashid Meredov congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the responsible position and expressed readiness to support his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on further prospects of cooperation between the states in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

It was noted that partnership relations between the countries are developing on the basis of trustful dialog and principles of mutual respect. The interlocutors also emphasized the need to continue the practice of mutual support for each other's initiatives in the United Nations.
