The IV meeting of the International Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri" was held in the capital city

On October 26, the IV meeting of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and "Türkmen alabaý itleri" was held in the Center of the International Associations of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and "Türkmen alabaý itleri", which was attended by heads and specialists of specialized structures and various departments, higher educational institutions, as well as members of the Association from the velayats, representatives of the media. They were joined by foreign dog breeders through videoconferencing, TDH reports.

Before the forum, the participants familiarized themselves with the exhibition of works of national arts and crafts and photography, folk crafts, paintings, printed materials, carpets and sculptures, where Turkmen Alabai are the main characters.

The agenda of the forum included issues related to the activities of the organization. In addition, new members were admitted to the organization, and the best cinematographers of the country were presented with state awards.

As the speakers emphasized, thanks to the tireless heroic activity started by Hero Arkadag and successfully continued under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, large-scale work has been carried out in the country to glorify the Turkmen Alabai in the world, their protection and breeding, preservation of the population, including at the international level. All conditions have been created for scientific study of the history of this dog breed that has survived to our days.

The gathered expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as to Hero-Arkadag for the wonderful opportunities created for breeding and education of Alabays and their wide glorification.

In his speech, member of the International Association, head of the Turkmen-French archaeological expedition in Ulugdepe Giulio Bendezu-Sarmiento took the opportunity to express his gratitude to Hero Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the care to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and congratulated everyone on the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabai.

The scientist emphasized the importance of collecting and exchanging information on the state of the breed, determining the main directions of its breeding. The French researcher expressed confidence that cooperation with Turkmen colleagues will improve the efficiency and quality of work.

Then, the members of the International Association - Murat Kibar, Professor, Doctor of the Faculty of Hunting and Wildlife of Artvin Çoruh University of the Republic of Türkiye, and An Zhinlong, Head of the China-Turkmenistan Cultural Center (PRC), private dog breeder, made a welcome speech on the digital system.

The speeches of the foreign participants emphasized that the Turkmen land is the hearth of the most ancient civilizations and cultural values of world significance.

In the speeches of the heads of the centers of the International Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri" of Ashgabat city and provinces, private dog breeders it was noted that being faithful companions of Turkmens for thousands of years, not just helpers, guards and protectors, but also friends, alabays showed exemplary courage and selfless devotion. Due to these qualities, they took an honorable place in the culture, art, literature and folklore of the Turkmen people.

Then the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on awarding the honorary title "Türkmenistanyň at gazanan itşynasy" on the occasion of the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabai was read out.

With a sense of pride and undisguised excitement accepting the deserved awards, the participants of the meeting expressed sincere gratitude to the head of state for the high appreciation of their activities, assuring that they would continue to carry out targeted scientific and breeding work to preserve the purity of the breed, create new lines and increase the number of Turkmen Alabays.

In accordance with the decision of the Head of Turkmenistan, President of the International Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri", its new members were presented with certificates.
