According to the results of the 8 months of the current year, grain growers delivered more than 1.4 million tons of wheat, more than 2.1 thousand tons of cocoons, successfully fulfilled the plan for the production of rice, barley, leguminous and oilseed crops. The cotton harvest has begun.
The expert noted that vegetable growing, potato growing, melon growing, viticulture and cultivation of fruit and berry crops are actively developing. The development of agriculture in Turkmenistan is scientifically grounded. Of particular importance are breeding and seed production, which makes it possible to increase yields and consistently achieve high yields.
