Ambassador of Spain accredited in Turkmenistan

On September 28, the ceremony of presenting credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow) Marcos Gomez Martinez to Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova took place. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan congratulated the Spanish diplomat on his appointment and expressed readiness to support him in carrying out his diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of Turkmen-Spanish cooperation and prospects for its further development in agriculture, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian spheres, in particular, the study of the Spanish language and educational programs. In addition, during the talks, the sides touched upon topical issues of interaction between the two countries within the framework of international organizations.
