Turkmenistan awarded a title to the representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on foreign policy issues

A ceremony of awarding the title of honorary elder of the nation to the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Foreign Policy Abdulaziz Kamilov was held in the Turkmen capital on December 11. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

In the course of the ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov thanked A. Kamilov for successful activities aimed at strengthening fraternal relations between the two countries, contribution to maintaining cohesion, development of national traditions and popularization of the creative heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The Special Representative was awarded the honorary title of "Hormatly il ýaşulusy" and was also presented with a jubilee medal of the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fraghi.

The award ceremony was attended by employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Ashgabat, teachers of the Institute of International Relations and journalists.
