A reception on the occasion of Saudi Arabia's National Day was held in Turkmenistan

A diplomatic reception on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the state unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was held at the Ýyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat on September 23. The event was attended by representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan and members of the diplomatic corps of the two countries. Saudi National Day emphasizes the Kingdom's commitment to economic diversification and social progress based on national cultural traditions.

Diplomatic relations between the states, established in 1992, serve as a solid basis for multi-vector cooperation. Saudi Arabia was one of the first countries to recognize Turkmenistan's independence.

On the occasion of the national holiday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent solemn congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and all the people of the friendly country.
