A number of meetings with the delegation of the Asian Development Bank were held in Turkmenistan

During the week, the Asian Development Bank delegation held a number of meetings and consultations with leading specialists of Turkmen ministries and agencies in order to strengthen scientific and practical cooperation. In particular, meetings were held with representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Agriculture, State Committee for Water Management. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age." 

The central topic of the meetings and consultations was a unified project on increasing the environmental friendliness of agricultural production and rationalization of environmental management. After several meetings, a meeting was held to develop a joint decision on the content of the project.

The project will include support for measures to adapt to global climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
