A meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was held in Turkmenistan

A meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was held on Friday, December 15. The meeting, which touched upon priority issues of state life, was held in digital format. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the meeting, the Chairman of the Majlis of the country D. Gulmanova made a report to the President, providing information on the work of the Majlis for the reporting period. The Chairman noted that in order to expand inter-parliamentary ties, credentials were accepted from the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Benin, Zimbabwe and Kuwait. A meeting was also held with the Plenipotentiary Representative of France on strengthening cooperation.

Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan H. Geldimiradov reported on the measures taken to implement the "State Program for the Development of Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025". He spoke about the ongoing work to improve the banking business and expand the range of services to the population using digital technologies.
