A meeting with the President of the OSCE PA was held in Turkmenistan

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, acting Foreign Minister V. Hajiyev and President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Margaret Cederfelt met in the building of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan on May 15.

During the meeting the bilateral cooperation in the political and diplomatic sphere, in the field of youth parliamentarism, in the field of energy security and ecology, in the humanitarian field was to be discussed.

The sides discussed the successful implementation of joint projects with the OSCE Center in Ashgabat.
Special attention was paid to the role of neutral Turkmenistan in achieving sustainable development, maintaining peace and security at the international and regional level, which is the theme of the upcoming forum "The Role of Neutral States in Strengthening Security, Stability and Dialogue in the OSCE Region".
