The year of modern music has been declared in the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. The Year of Modern Music has been declared. The aim of the project is to unlock the creative potential of musicians and encourage courageous innovation. Master classes, conferences, musical meetings and other events are planned within the walls of the Conservatory.
Audiences at the Conservatory are more accustomed to hearing the sounds of Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, Debussy, Stravinsky, and other maestros. The new art project will introduce listeners to new classical music by contemporary composers who have not yet written their names in history.
The conservatory management plans to demonstrate an analysis of musical scores in live performance or in recordings. Not only musicians, but also representatives of the creative intelligentsia (filmmakers, actors, artists, and writers) will be invited to the discussion debates.
The series of thematic talks will be opened by People's Artist of Turkmenistan, composer, associate professor of TNK Bayramdurdy Hudaynazarov. He will give an overview of works by local and foreign composers who created with the use of modern techniques of musical writing.
