Climate change issues discussed in Dashoguz province of Turkmenistan

The Dashoguz State Agricultural Institute held a conference on youth involvement in the fight against climate change. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The event was organized by the Government of Turkmenistan together with the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, as well as the British and UAE embassies in the country. The conference was attended by youth, SDG Ambassadors, embassy staff and UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan Dmitry Shlapachenko.

Environmental problems were considered, including climate change, sustainable agriculture and its adaptation to climate change, the Aral Sea problems and participation of the young generation in the fight against climate change.
