Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan meets with IRI delegation

A delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by the mayor of Gulistan province Ali Mohammad Zanganeh visited Ashgabat to take part in festive events on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev met with the Iranian delegation on September 28 as part of the program of his stay in Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the sides noted the dynamism and consistency of the development of Turkmen-Iranian cooperation in various areas. In addition, the sides discussed the development of cooperation between the Balkan province of Turkmenistan and the Gulistan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The sides considered the strengthening of mutually beneficial partnership in trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian, transport and transit spheres.
