The working trip of the National Leader of the Turkmen People to Iran has been completed

On May 31, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov completed his working trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Within the framework of the visit, Chairman of Khalq Maslakhaty held a number of working meetings, including with the President of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, with the head of the IRI Political Expediency Council Sadeq Amoli Larijani, with the Chairman of the Majlis of Islamic Shura Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, with the Supreme Spiritual Leader of the IRI Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited "Mapna Group" industrial complex in order to build up mutually beneficial partnership in trade and economic sphere.

After Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's arrival in Ashgabat, he held a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Turkmenistan.

The working visit to Iran resulted in Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation in the electric power, education and healthcare sectors, as well as Programs aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Foreign Ministries and customs services of the two countries. The meetings resulted in the adoption of the Joint Declaration between Turkmenistan and IRI.
