The 22nd session of the Mejlis was held in Turkmenistan

On Thursday, March 16, the 22nd session of the sixth convocation of the Mejlis on the digital system was held, where they considered a number of bills and amendments to laws that meet the priorities of the state policy of the country. The event was attended by representatives of Turkmenistan's agencies and ministries, as well as members of the media. This was reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today".

The draft law "On the Mejlis of Turkmenistan" was considered, which makes it possible to define the powers of the structures and the range of the most important tasks of this body of legislative power of the country.

When considering the bill on joining the Brussels International Convention on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, the deputies stressed its importance in the development of the country's foreign economic activity on the basis of innovations and modern digital technologies.
