Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held talks with Afghan delegates led by Afghan Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs Mohammad Qasim Halimi, who paid an official visit to our state. Participants in the talks noted the significant level of bilateral cooperation, in which humanitarian partnership is given special attention.
The Afghan minister focused on the support provided to Afghanistan by Turkmenistan - this is implemented in a number of projects and programs of economic, social and cultural nature, initiated by the Turkmen side. In his speech, Mohammed Qasim Halimi also mentioned the importance of social facilities implemented in Afghanistan with the active support of Turkmenistan, including the mosque in Faryab province, which symbolizes the friendly relations of the powers.
The representative of Afghanistan praised the effect of the policy of neutrality implemented by the head of Turkmenistan and aimed at strengthening peace and friendly interaction between states and nations.
