Russian Ambassador Addressed the People of Turkmenistan on the Occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Great Patriotic War

In his message, Russian Ambassador A.V. Blokhin noted that in Russia 22 июня – День памяти и скорби. That day has divided the lives of millions of people into "before" and "after," leaving an indelible mark on everyone's fate.

The diplomat told one of the many stories that come to life in our imagination on this day. Mikhail Ptushenko, a 20-year-old lieutenant from Ashkhabad – один из героев войны, который в апреле 1943-го отправился на фронт.

A musical project was implemented in memory of the Ashgabat hero - The front poems received a musical setting thanks to the composer of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov, S.V. Ekimov.

Guests of the concertThe song on verses by Ptushenko was heard for the first time at the Makhtumkuli National Musical Drama Theater of Turkmenistan on June 20 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
