The competition for young cooks was held in Turkmenistan. The students of two special technical schools and one specialized secondary river school took part in it. The competition was timed to the harvest festival in the country and organized by the association of trade unions of Lebap velayat.
Participants in the culinary arts competition demonstrated their knowledge of safety techniques during the preparation of various dishes. Young chefs showed how they know how to set the table and decorate dishes before serving. An exhibition of dishes prepared by the students was also organized.
The first place was won by students of Technical School #2, the second place went to the team of the Turkmenabat Secondary Vocational School. The third place went to the cooks of Technical School No. 1. The winners received memorable gifts prepared by the organizer of the competition.
