Serdar Berdymukhamedov congratulates Latvian President on Independence Day

President of Turkmenistan S e r d a r Berdimuhamedov on Friday congratulated Latvian President Egils Levits on the national holiday - the Day of Proclamation of the Republic of Latvia.

"Taking this pleasant opportunity, the head of state expressed his wishes for good health and well-being, and for peace, progress and prosperity to the people of Latvia," the Turkmen president said in a congratulatory telegram published in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

Friday marks the 104th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia.
