Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan agree to intensify bilateral ties

In the capital of Turkmenistan, October 31, during the talks between Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan Rashid Meredov and Murat Nurtleu discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

According to the joint communiqué, the sides highly appreciated the current level of political dialog and trade and economic ties between the two countries.

Special attention was paid to further strengthening of partnership in the energy, industrial and agricultural spheres. The sides also emphasized the interest in building up cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, in particular in the fields of education, science and culture.

During the visit of the Kazakh Foreign Minister to Ashgabat, the Program of Cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries for 2024-2026 was signed. The document is designed to give a new impetus to the development of Kazakh-Turkmen relations.
