Turkmen Agricultural University to hold International Olympiad on Ecology

Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov will hold the II Open International Internet Olympiad on Ecology on December 5. This is reported by Centralasia.news.

Registration of students wishing to take part in the intellectual competition has already begun and will last until December 3. It should be done on the official website of the organizing university. Students of both Turkmen and foreign universities can take part in the Olympiad.

The Olympiad will allow to identify talented and promising students in the field of ecological knowledge, as well as to increase the interest of the young generation to environmental problems and environmental protection.

It should be reminded that President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov calls environmental threats one of the global world problems of the present time. In this regard, at the summit of CA and GCC countries in Jeddah, he proposed an initiative to establish an environmental council of CA countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
