Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the UN A. Ataeva addressed the Cabinet meeting

On September 11, Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Aksoltan Ataeva addressed a meeting of the country's Cabinet of Ministers on the eve of the International Day of Neutrality. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

А. Ataeva expressed her sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the constant support to the work of the country's diplomatic service and care for the development of foreign policy activities of independent neutral Turkmenistan. She noted the large-scale work done to improve international relations.

It was emphasized that in connection with the implementation of the international initiatives of the President on sustainable development of the country, relevant decisions of the UN General Assembly were adopted concerning such priority areas of cooperation as energy, transport and environmental security. A. Ataeva noted that work is currently underway to expand Turkmenistan's representation in the UN specialized agencies.
