A festive concert dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was held on the stage of the National Musical Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The concert was opened with the composition "I Love You, Life" performed by the State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Rasul Klychev. Such songs as "Ballad about Mother" performed by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Selbi Annadurdiyeva, "Katyusha" performed by Dovran Shammiyev and Anna Veliakhmedova, as well as "Dark Night", "The Last Battle", "May Waltz", "Smuglyanka" and others were performed.
At the end of the concert, the children's choir "Friendship" of the Joint Turkmen-Russian Pushkin School performed the anthem song "Victory Day" by David Tukhmanov.
